TBC1D3/3B/3C/3G Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TBC1D3/3B/3C/3G protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TBC1D3/3B/3C/3G (H-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The TBC1D3 family of proteins, which includes TBC1D3, TBC1D3B, TBC1D3C, and TBC1D3G, plays a crucial role in cellular processes by acting as GTPase-activating proteins for Rab 5, thereby regulating vesicular trafficking and endocytosis. This regulation is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating communication between different cellular compartments. Dysregulation of TBC1D3 proteins has been implicated in the development of various carcinomas, including prostate cancer, highlighting their potential as biomarkers for cancer progression. The genes encoding these proteins are located on human chromosome 17, a region that is significant not only for its high gene density but also for its association with key tumor suppressor genes such as p53 and BRCA1, both of which are critical for maintaining genomic stability and preventing tumorigenesis.
