    SEE ALSO...

RFX-B Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RFX-B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RFX-B (E-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RFX-B protein plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression, particularly in the context of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II genes, which are essential for the immune response. Located primarily in the nucleus, RFX-B is part of a protein complex that binds to regulatory enhancer elements in the promoters of various genes, including those involved in immune function. This binding is vital for the transcriptional activation of MHC class II genes, especially in response to signals such as interferon-γ, which is critical for mounting an effective immune response. RFX family of proteins, including RFX-B, contains conserved structural features such as a DNA-binding domain and a dimerization region, which facilitate their function as transcription factors. By understanding RFX-B′s role in immune regulation, researchers can better explore therapeutic targets for autoimmune diseases and other conditions where immune response modulation is necessary.
