LNX2 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects LNX2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LNX2 Antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LNX2, also known as LIGAND OF NUMB PROTEIN X2 or PDZ DOMAIN-CONTAINING RING FINGER PROTEIN 1, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and fate determination by interacting with key proteins such as Numb and NumbL. Structurally, LNX2 features a RING finger domain, a PTB-binding motif, and four PDZ domains, which are essential for function as a molecular scaffold. This unique architecture allows LNX2 to facilitate the aggregation of various interacting proteins, directing them to specific subcellular locations, which is vital for maintaining cellular organization and function. LNX2 is located on chromosome 13q12.2, and expression patterns are closely associated with those of Numb proteins, suggesting participation in forming large protein networks through homomeric interactions. Additionally, research indicates that oligomerization of LNX2 and binding to Numb occur concurrently, highlighting the dynamic nature of these interactions in cellular processes.
