I am interested in isolation of intact lysosomes. Does this antibody recognise the small cytoplasmic tail of LAMP1?  LAMP1 normally localised to the endo-/lysosomal compartment, enriched in lysosomes, so why a diffuse cytosolic stain in IF?

Thank you for your question. Literature supports that LAMP-1 shuttles between lysosomes, endosomes, and the plasma membrane. Our LAMP-1 antibody sc-8098 has an epitope that does fall within the cytoplasmic domain.
