HMG-20A Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HMG-20A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HMG-20A (D-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HMG-20A protein, also known as high-mobility group 20A, HMGX1, or HMGXB1, is a 347 amino acid protein predominantly localized in the nucleus and features a single HMG box DNA-binding domain. HMG-20A plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression by modulating transcription factor binding to DNA, thereby influencing cellular processes such as neuronal differentiation. HMG-20A interacts with various proteins, including BRAF35, where HMG-20A acts as an inhibitor, highlighting its importance in cellular signaling pathways. Multiple isoforms of HMG-20A, resulting from alternative splicing, further underscore the complexity of its function and regulation within the cell.
