CD24 항체(SN3)는 마우스, 랫트, 인간에서 유래된 CD24 단백질을 웨스턴 블롯(WB), 면역침전법(IP), 면역형광법(IF), 유세포분석법(FCM)을 통해 검출하는 마우스 단일클론 IgG1 카파 경쇄 항체입니다. 항-CD24 항체(SN3)는 비접합 형태와 아가로스, 과산화효소(HRP), 피코에리트린(PE), 플루오레세인 이소티오시아네이트(FITC), 다중 알렉사 플루오르® 접합체를 포함한 다양한 접합체 형태로 제공됩니다. CD24는 주로 pro-B, pre-B, 그리고 성숙 B 세포에서 발현되는 GPI(glycosylphosphatidylinositol)에 고정된 막의 sialoglycoprotein으로, B 세포 활성화에 따라 발현이 감소합니다. CD24는 또한 과립구와 소수의 흉선구 및 신경모세포에도 존재하지만, 형질세포에는 존재하지 않습니다. CD24는 B 세포의 증식과 분화를 조절하는 데 중요한 역할을 하므로, CD24는 정상적인 면역 반응과 혈액암 모두에서 중요합니다. Does sc-19585 work for IHC-FFPE human tissue?

Thank you for your question. Anti-CD24 Antibody (SN3) is only recommended for detection of CD24 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and FCM. Based on our tests with this product, it is not suitable for IHC(P) applications.

Q about the SN3 (anti CD24) Ab specificity. Can you please provide information regarding the epitopte that this Ab recognizes? Are the epitops different from other commonly-used anti-CD mAbs such as M1/69?

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal CD24 antibody was raised against NALM-1 human pre-B leukemia cell line. The exact epitope recognized by this mouse monoclonal antibody has not yet been determined. Yes, this antibody has a unique epitope compared to other commercially available CD24 antibody clones.

Why is CD24 Antibody (SN3): sc-19585 the recommended alternative to the now discontinued CD24 Antibody (FL-80): sc-11406?

Thank you for your question. The mouse monoclonal CD24 Antibody (SN3): sc-19585 offers a higher degree of specificity and eliminates lot-to-lot variation when compared to the polyclonal, sc-11406. It is also warrantied for all of the same applications as the discontinued polyclonal antibody: WB, IP, IF, and FCM.
