AOS-1 Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects AOS-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AOS-1 (H-9) antibody is available as a non-conjugated format. AOS-1 protein, also known as SUMO-1-activating enzyme or ubiquitin-like 1-activating enzyme E1A, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-like (UBL) conjugation pathway, which is essential for various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation and stress response. AOS-1 functions as a dimeric enzyme and acts as a UBL1 E1 ligase, facilitating the ATP-dependent activation of UBL1. This activation is vital because AOS-1 marks proteins for subsequent modification and degradation, thereby maintaining cellular homeostasis.
