SEE ALSO...

Annexin II Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody raised against amino acids 1–50 of human Annexin II, also known as Annexin A2, Calpactin I heavy chain, Chromobindin-8, Lipocortin II, p36, and Placental Anticoagulant Protein IV. Annexin II is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein characterized by a conserved core domain composed of four annexin repeats, each forming a helix-loop-helix structure that enables binding to phospholipids in a Ca²⁺-dependent manner. This structural feature facilitates membrane-related processes such as endocytosis, exocytosis, and cellular adhesion. The unique N-terminal domain of Annexin II allows interaction with other proteins, notably forming a heterotetrameric complex with S100A10 (p11), known as calpactin I, which plays a significant role in signal transduction and cytoskeletal organization. By understanding the structure of Annexin II, researchers can better comprehend involvement in critical cellular functions like membrane trafficking and the regulation of fibrinolysis. Anti-Annexin II antibody (H-5) detects Annexin II of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and is also reactive with additional species including canine and bovine. Targeting Annexin II with Annexin II monoclonal antibody (H-5) enables researchers to investigate its role in physiological processes and pathological conditions such as cancer progression, inflammation, and coagulation disorders. Available in both unconjugated and multiple conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, Annexin II (H-5) antibody offers versatility for a wide range of experimental applications.
