Datasheets
  • UBE2D Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 111-143 at the C-terminus of UBE2D of human origin
  • recommended for detection of reactive with all isoforms of UBE2D of mouse, rat, human and avian origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and canine, bovine, porcine and avian
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for UBE2D Antibody (F-6) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with UBE2D Antibody (F-6) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

UBE2D Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects UBE2D in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). UBE2D is a crucial ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that plays a significant role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis by regulating protein degradation. UBE2D is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where UBE2D facilitates the transfer of ubiquitin to target proteins, marking them for degradation. Proper functioning of UBE2D is vital, as UBE2D ensures the removal of damaged or misfolded proteins, thereby preventing the accumulation of potentially toxic proteins that could disrupt cellular functions. Additionally, UBE2D interacts with various E3 ligases, such as SCF (Skp1-Cul1-F-box protein) complexes, which are responsible for recognizing specific substrates for ubiquitination. The dynamic interplay between UBE2D and these ligases underscores the importance of UBE2D in cellular signaling pathways, including those involved in immune responses and cell cycle regulation. UBE2D Antibody (F-6) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of protein degradation and the implications of ubiquitination in various diseases.
