PLC β3 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PLC beta 3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PLC β3 (D-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PLC beta 3 protein plays a vital role in cellular signaling pathways by catalyzing the hydrolysis of phosphatidylinositol 4, 5-bisphosphate into inositol 1, 4, 5-trisphosphate and diacylglycerol, which are crucial second messengers in regulating various physiological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. PLC beta 3 is predominantly located in the plasma membrane, where PLC beta 3 interacts with G protein-coupled receptors and is activated by Gq class heterotrimeric G proteins, highlighting its importance in mediating receptor signaling. PLC beta 3 presence in various tissues underscores its significance in both normal physiology and pathological conditions, making PLC beta 3 a valuable target for research and therapeutic applications.
