Nkx-6.3 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Nkx-6.3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Nkx-6.3 antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nkx-6.3 is a crucial 265 amino acid homeobox protein that plays a significant role in the differentiation of gastrin-producing G-cells in the stomach and antrum, highlighting its importance in gastrointestinal development and function. Nkx-6.3 is selectively expressed in the duodenal and glandular endoderm, distinguishing Nkx-6.3 from other Nkx-6 family counterparts, Nkx-6.1 and Nkx-6.2, which are broadly expressed in the ventral regions of the developing central nervous system. The Nkx-6 family, including Nkx-6.1, Nkx-6.2, and Nkx-6.3, is essential for proper patterning of the pancreas and central nervous system, with Nkx-6.1 and Nkx-6.2 being involved in cellular differentiation during neural tube development. Nkx-6.3 is produced in two isoforms due to alternative splicing events, further emphasizing functional diversity and regulatory roles in developmental processes.
