Mengo 3DPol Antibody (8D10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects 3DPol protein by western blotting (WB). Anti-3DPol antibody (8D10) specifically targets the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (3Dpol) of the Mengovirus, a member of the Cardiovirus genus within the Picornaviridae family. 3DPol (8D10) monoclonal antibody recognizes this essential enzyme responsible for synthesizing new viral RNA genomes, facilitating viral replication and propagation within the host. Understanding 3Dpol function is vital for developing antiviral strategies and assessing Mengovirus infection in mammalian systems. Anti-3DPol antibody (8D10) accurately detects this polymerase, enabling researchers to monitor viral replication dynamics and explore mechanisms of Mengovirus host immune evasion, making this tool valuable for virology studies.
