Thank you for your question. Yes, this rabbit polyclonal antibody was raised against full length GFP protein, which has a high degree of sequence identity with the EGFP mutant protein. It should therefore be able to also recognize the EGFP protein. This antibody is now discontinued. We would recommend using the currently available mouse monoclonal antibody, GFP Antibody (B-2): sc-9996, which should also detect the EGFP protein.
