Unfortunately, the exact sequence used as an immunogen is not known, nor is the epitope recognized by this specific clone. We do offer a broad variety of GFP antibodies where this information is available. For example, our GFP Antibody (C-2): sc-390394 is specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 167-182 within an internal region of GFP of Aequorea victoria origin.
