    SEE ALSO...

Cytoglobin Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects cytoglobin in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cytoglobin plays a crucial role in oxygen transport and storage, acting as a vital component in the diffusion of oxygen through various tissues while also serving as a scavenger for reactive oxygen species, including nitric oxide. Anti-cytoglobin antibody (G-2) is particularly important for studying protective functions during oxidative stress, which is essential for maintaining cellular health and function. Cytoglobin is a hexacoordinate hemoglobin that exhibits less than 30% identity with other human hemoglobins, highlighting its unique structure and function. Cytoglobin monoclonal antibody (G-2) enables research across diverse tissues, including fibroblasts and nerve cell populations, underscoring cytoglobin′s significance in various physiological processes.
