6α-プロスタグランジンI1（6α-PGI1）は、水溶液中で加水分解されにくい安定なプロスタグランジンI2（PGI2）アナログである。6α-PGI1は、ヒト甲状腺スライスおよび細胞において、濃度依存的にサイクリックAMPの蓄積を促進する。6α-PGI1は、ADP誘発血小板凝集抑制作用において350ng/mlのIC50を示し、これはPGI2（0.4ng/ml）の約900倍である2。
