OAS2 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects OAS2 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). OAS2, a member of the 2′-5′-oligoadenylate synthetase family, plays a crucial role in the cellular response to viral infections by synthesizing 2′-5′-linked oligoadenylates from ATP in the presence of double-stranded RNA and magnesium ions. This enzymatic activity is vital for inhibiting protein synthesis in infected cells, thereby limiting viral replication.
