    Trichohyalin Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Trichohyalin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Trichohyalin (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Trichohyalin is a crucial structural protein predominantly found in the medulla and inner root sheath of hair follicles, where Trichohyalin plays a vital role in forming and organizing the cornified cell envelope. Trichohyalin contains nine distinct domains, including two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs in its first domain, which are essential for structural integrity and function. As a member of the S100-fused protein family, Trichohyalin is involved in various cellular processes, including keratin intermediate filament stabilization and coordination of peripheral cell envelope barrier proteins, contributing to the overall architecture and resilience of hair follicles. Trichohyalin′s interaction with transglutaminase and peptidylarginine deaminase further underscores Trichohyalin′s importance in post-translational modifications that regulate function and stability, making anti-Trichohyalin antibody (F-2) an invaluable tool for researchers studying hair follicle biology and related disorders.
