TREML2 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TREML2 protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TREML2 antibody (G-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TREML2, also known as triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-like 2, C6orf76, or TLT2, is a 321 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein characterized by one immunoglobulin-like V-type domain. TREML2 is primarily located on the surface of immune cells, including B cells and monocytes, where TREML2 plays a crucial role in modulating immune responses. TREML2 interaction with specific ligands can influence both innate and adaptive immunity, making TREML2 an important target for understanding immune system dynamics and potential therapeutic interventions. TREML2 gene is situated on human chromosome 6, a region associated with various diseases, including certain cancers and neurological disorders, highlighting TREML2′s significance in both health and disease contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390343 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
