TBL1 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TBL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TBL1 antibody (H-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TBL1, or transducin β-like 1, plays a critical role in gene expression regulation by participating in ubiquitin/19S proteasome complex recruitment to nuclear receptor-regulated transcription units, essential for misfolded protein degradation and various cellular processes. TBL1 features six distinct β-transducin repeats, also known as WD40 repeats, which enable protein-protein interactions and multiprotein complex assembly. TBL1X, a TBL1 variant, functions within the N-CoR repressor complex and interacts with histones H2B, H3a, and H4, highlighting TBL1X′s role in chromatin remodeling and transcriptional repression. TBL1X defects have been linked to ocular albinism with late-onset sensorineural deafness, demonstrating TBL1X′s significance in human health. TBL1Y, the Y-linked counterpart, primarily expresses in fetal brain and prostate tissues, showcasing TBL1 proteins′ diverse roles in cellular function and development.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-137006 X be used instead of the standard form sc-137006?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
