  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 1-16 at the N-terminus of SNX7 of human origin
  • SNX7 Antibody (C-1) is recommended for detection of SNX7 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and canine and porcine
  • Anti-SNX7 Antibody (C-1) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for SNX7 Antibody (C-1) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with SNX7 Antibody (C-1) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SNX7 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects SNX7 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SNX7 (C-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SNX7 plays a crucial role in cellular membrane trafficking and protein sorting, which are essential processes for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating signal transduction pathways. Specifically, SNX7 is involved in the sorting of proteins within the endosomal system, facilitating their recycling or degradation, thereby influencing the availability of receptors on the cell surface. This function is particularly important in the context of receptor-mediated endocytosis, where proper sorting of receptors can determine cellular responses to external signals. Notably, SNX7 lacks a coiled-coil domain, which distinguishes SNX7 from other sorting nexins and may influence specific interactions and functions within the cell. While mutations in SNX7 have not been linked to any diseases, understanding SNX7′s role in protein sorting and trafficking can provide insights into various cellular processes and potential therapeutic targets.
