Na+/K+-ATPase α Antibody (M7-PB-E9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody, specifically engineered to recognize the Na+/K+-ATPase α subunit. Na+/K+-ATPase α monoclonal antibody (M7-PB-E9) is raised against the ovine Na+/K+-ATPase α protein and effectively detects α isoforms from mouse and human origins, as well as the α3 isoform from rat origin, through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Additionally, Na+/K+-ATPase α (M7-PB-E9) antibody shows reactivity with other species including ovine, bovine, porcine, and canine, while not cross-reacting with the α1 isoform in Xenopus or chicken, or with the α2 or α3 isoforms in rat. Na+/K+-ATPase is a crucial membrane-bound enzyme composed of α, β, and γ subunits, responsible for maintaining essential electrochemical gradients by actively transporting three sodium ions out of the cell and two potassium ions into the cell.
