JAM-C Antibody (13Y07) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Junctional Adhesion Molecule C (JAM-C) in human samples through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) applications. JAM-C is a crucial member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, primarily expressed in tight junctions of epithelial and endothelial cells, where JAM-C plays a significant role in maintaining barrier integrity. JAM-C (13Y07) antibody enables detection of a protein essential for cell-to-cell adhesion, facilitating homophilic interactions vital for tight junction organization and leukocyte extravasation regulation. JAM-C interacts with JAM-B, suggesting a functional relationship that may influence lymphocyte trafficking and immune responses. The interaction between JAM-B and JAM-C is particularly important in T cell adhesion, mediating heterotypic interactions that impact inflammation and immune cell migration. Anti-JAM-C antibody (13Y07) helps researchers explore these interaction dynamics and their implications in various physiological and pathological processes, enhancing understanding of immune regulation and barrier function in human tissues.

I bought the L form of this antibody, sc-80134 L for blocking (neutralization). How long can I store this at in the refridgerator?

Asked by: TinTin
The L form of the antibody should be stored at -20°C. Once thawed, we recommend using as soon as possible, although it is usually stable for up to 2 weeks at 4 degrees.
