Diminazene Aceturate is a diamidine with anti-protozoal and anti-trypanosomal properties. Diminazene Aceturate is an activator of ACE2. Similar to other diamidines, Diminazene Aceturate affects a variety of enzymes and can modulate the interactions between nucleic acids and proteins. In rat tests, Diminazene Aceturate has shown the ability to enhance enzymatic activity of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2.
