I see this antibody is discontinued, but the replacement antibody (sc-81189) doesn't target mouse Atf3. Is there still stock of sc-188 or do you have any other antibody against mouse Atf3 that I could use for ChIP-seq? Thank you

Rated 1 de 5 de par Negative immunostaining!In the past we have used your anti-ATF3 antibody and it gave us brilliant results. Please have a look at Figure 7 and 8 of our published results (Journal of Chemical Neuroanatomy 55 (2014) 38–50). Normally we get no ATF-3 immunoreactivity in the neurons of the dorsal root ganglia, neither in the cytoplasm nor in the nuclei of the neurons. However, the ATF3 up-regulates in the nuclei of the injured neurons with very faint labeling in the cytoplasm if any (please see figure 7 and 8 in our paper)! Using your new anti-ATF3 antibody [ATF3 (C-19) sc-188, Lot#C3116] which we have recently got from your company gave negative result . We saw only non-specific staining in the cytoplasm of the neurons with no labeling in the nuclei. We have tried several times and used different dilutions of the antibody (1:200, 1:500, 1:1000 and 1:2000 see attached figures) in both rats and mice with no success. Please advise! Best regards Safa
