Datasheets
  • ZBTB1 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ ZBTB1 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 10-28 near the N-terminus of ZBTB1 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of ZBTB1 of human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; may cross-react with ZBTB2 and ZBTB25
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for ZBTB1 Antibody (E-4) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with ZBTB1 Antibody (E-4) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

ZBTB1 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZBTB1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ZBTB1 antibody (E-4) is available as a non-conjugated format. ZBTB1, also known as zinc finger and BTB domain containing 1 or KIAA0997, is a crucial nuclear protein composed of 713 amino acids, featuring one BTB (POZ) domain and eight C2H2-type zinc fingers. This unique structure is significant as the BTB domain facilitates homodimerization and plays a vital role in transcriptional regulation by influencing chromatin structure and function. Multiple C2H2-type zinc fingers enhance ZBTB1′s ability to interact with DNA, thereby regulating gene expression. ZBTB1 is encoded on human chromosome 14, a region containing over 700 genes and accounting for nearly 3.5% of the human genome, underscoring ZBTB1′s importance in various biological processes. ZBTB1 (E-4) antibody enables researchers to explore this protein′s intricate roles in transcriptional regulation and potential implications in various diseases.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515076 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
