Ro-31-8220 in solution is an inhibitor of GSK-3 beta, GRK 5, MKLP-1, p70 S6 Kinase, Pim-1, PKCalpha, PKC beta, PKC epsilon and PKC gamma. Ro-31-8220 is also suggested to be an activator of JNK1. In solution, Ro-31-8220 has a notable inhibitory effect on MAPKAP-K1b, MSK1, S6K1, and GSK3β, with IC50 values of 3, 8, 15, and 38 nM, respectively. It demonstrates no impact on MKK3, MKK4, MKK6, and MKK7.
