    SEE ALSO...

PLEKHM3 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PLEKHM3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PLEKHM3 Antibody (A-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PLEKHM3, also known as pleckstrin homology domain containing, family M, member 3, is a 761 amino acid phosphoprotein that plays a crucial role in intracellular trafficking and signaling pathways. PLEKHM3 contains two pleckstrin homology (PH) domains and a phorbol-ester/DAG-type zinc finger, which are essential for binding to phosphoinositides and mediating protein-protein interactions. PLEKHM3 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm and is involved in the regulation of endosomal transport, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating the recycling of membrane proteins. PLEKHM3 is conserved across various species, including chimpanzees, dogs, cows, mice, rats, chickens, and zebrafish, and exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms that contribute to diverse functional roles. The gene encoding PLEKHM3 is located on human chromosome 2q33.3, a region that is significant due to its size and the number of genes harbored, making this area important for genetic studies and understanding evolutionary biology.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393066 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
