If I use Munc 13-1/2/3 primary antibody, is it possible to differentiate which one is Munc 13-1/ Munc 13-2/Munc 13-3 by using Immunohistochemistry (DAB method) or immunofluorescence

Preguntado por: MUTHURAJU
Thank you for your question. No, the antibody will detect all three forms and you will not be able to differentiate between them, unless they localize differently in the cells. If you need to differentiate, I would recommend using 3 different antibodies that are already conjugated to fluorochromes. It would be difficult to differentiate using DAB.

I am using Munc13-1/2/3 (32): sc-136182 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Preguntado por: cjMara
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
