Hi, if this LAT1 antibody in conjugation with HRP is recommend by you for IHC(P) applications (citation: "HRP für WB, IHC(P) und ELISA"), which antigen retrieval method to your knowledge have been tested successfully for this antibody?

Thank you for your question. The HRP conjugated primary antibody is recommended and warrantied for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues, or for IHC(P), however we are still gathering data to show on our website. Check back for updates! In general, we recommend using a sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) with heat treatment for antigen retrieval.

I am interested in using this anti-body in a porcine model. Is there any data showing that the reagent can detect porcine?

We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. Rated 1 de 5 por de Variable/weak wb results from mouse CNS tissues I've tried to use this antibody to detect Lat1 of mouse origin in cell lines and tissues from the brain and spinal cord, and I get variable signal. The protein is known to be expressed in my cells of interest, and the mRNA is really quite high as well. Either this antibody is less efficient for Ms Lat1, or its not specific. Based on this I wouldn't trust it for ICC unless using an over-expression model.
