Integrin α4 Antibody (9F10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin α4 in human samples through applications such as immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Integrin α4 plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and migration by mediating interactions between cells and the extracellular matrix, particularly in the context of immune responses and inflammation. Anti-Integrin α4 antibody (9F10) recognizes this protein primarily on the surface of leukocytes, where Integrin α4 facilitates adhesion to endothelial cells and the extracellular matrix, which is essential for the recruitment of immune cells to sites of injury or infection. The ability of Integrin α4 to bind to ligands, such as vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1) and fibronectin, is vital for proper immune system functioning, as Integrin α4 influences processes like lymphocyte trafficking and tissue infiltration. Anti-Integrin α4 antibody (9F10) enables researchers to gain insights into the mechanisms of immune cell behavior and the pathophysiology of various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer.

How can Integrin α4 (9F10): sc-23933 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: jenniferc
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-23933 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-23933 FITC).
