Dok-3 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Dok-3 in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Dok-3 is a crucial adapter protein that plays a significant role in recruiting inhibitory molecules, particularly in immune cells like B cells and macrophages. Expression of Dok-3 is notably elevated in these cell types, where Dok-3 becomes activated upon immunoreceptor-mediated cellular stimulation, leading to tyrosine phosphorylation. This post-translational modification enables Dok-3 to interact with key signaling proteins, including the 5′ inositol phosphatase SHIP and the protein tyrosine kinase Csk. Through binding to these proteins, Dok-3 is involved in the negative regulation of immunoreceptor signaling, thereby modulating immune responses and maintaining cellular homeostasis. The role of Dok-3 as a signaling hub highlights its importance in the intricate network of immune regulation, making anti-Dok-3 antibody (H-5) a valuable tool for researchers studying immune signaling pathways and their implications in health and disease.
