    SEE ALSO...

CEACAM16 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CEACAM16 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CEACAM16 antibody (A-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CEACAM16, also known as carcinoembryonic antigen-like 2, is a 484 amino acid single-pass transmembrane protein characterized by two immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, which play a crucial role in mediating cell adhesion and signaling processes. These domains facilitate interactions with other proteins, influencing cellular communication and immune responses. Such interactions are particularly important in tumor biology, where CEACAM16 may contribute to the regulation of tumor progression and metastasis. Understanding CEACAM16′s structural features and functional implications helps researchers explore potential applications as a biomarker for cancer and other diseases.
