SEE ALSO...

Cdc2L5 Antibody (ZZ08) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Cdc2L5 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Cdc2L5 antibody (ZZ08) is available as a non-conjugated format. Cdc2L5, also known as cell division cycle 2-like 5 or CHED, is a crucial member of the cyclin-dependent serine/threonine protein kinase family, which plays a significant role in regulating the cell cycle, particularly during mitosis. Cdc2L5 is predominantly expressed in liver, brain, and muscle tissues, where Cdc2L5 is involved in key processes such as cell differentiation and apoptosis. Notably, Cdc2L5 is implicated in blood cell development and is essential for controlling critical events in the mitotic cycle. Cdc2L5 overexpression has been linked to neuroblastoma and glioblastoma progression, highlighting Cdc2L5′s potential role in carcinogenesis. Cdc2L5 contains a protein kinase domain and exists in two isoforms generated through alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms within the cell.
