BTEB2 Antibody (10B3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects BTEB2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-BTEB2 antibody (10B3) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. BTEB2, a member of the C2H2 zinc finger family, plays a crucial role in gene regulation by binding to GC-rich motifs found in gene promoters, which can lead to either the activation or repression of transcriptional activities. BTEB2 is particularly important in vascular biology, as BTEB2 is expressed in the fetal aorta and is a target for early growth response protein 1 (Egr-1). BTEB2 expression is notably activated by mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways, highlighting BTEB2′s involvement in cellular responses to growth factors. Additionally, BTEB2 expression is induced in the neointima following vascular injury, indicating BTEB2′s role in the phenotypic modulation of vascular smooth muscle cells in response to mitogen stimulation. Understanding BTEB2′s function and regulatory mechanisms is essential for elucidating BTEB2′s contributions to vascular development and pathology, making BTEB2 monoclonal antibody (10B3) a valuable tool for researchers studying these processes.
