ASB-10 Antibody (QQ6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ASB-10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ASB-10 (QQ6) antibody is available as a non-conjugated anti-ASB-10 antibody, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this important protein. ASB-10 is a member of the ankyrin repeat and SOCS box-containing (ASB) protein family, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including the regulation of cytokine signaling. ASB-10 consists of 467 amino acids and features seven ankyrin repeats along with a SOCS box domain, which is essential for interaction with the Elongin B and C complex. Notably, ASB-10 contains a unique LS sequence in the conserved BC box subdomain of the SOCS box, differing from the common LC sequence found in other SOCS proteins; however, this alteration does not appear to disrupt protein interactions. The presence of two isoforms due to alternative splicing further highlights the complexity and functional diversity of ASB-10, making ASB-10 a significant subject of study in understanding the mechanisms of cytokine signaling and its implications in various diseases.
