ANKTM1 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ANKTM1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ANKTM1 (C-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ANKTM1, also known as Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily A Member 1, plays a crucial role in sensory transduction, particularly in nociceptors and hair cells. ANKTM1 is primarily located in the plasma membrane of sensory neurons and hair cells, where ANKTM1 functions as a cation channel activated by noxious stimuli, such as extreme cold and certain pungent compounds. This localization is vital for ANKTM1′s role in detecting environmental changes and initiating appropriate physiological responses, such as pain sensation and mechanotransduction in auditory cells.
