    SEE ALSO...

α-taxilin Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects α-taxilin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). α-taxilin plays a crucial role in intracellular vesicle trafficking, acting as a novel binding partner of the syntaxin family. The C-terminal coiled-coil region facilitates interaction with the nascent polypeptide-associated complex (NAC), a key transcriptional coactivator. α-taxilin primarily binds to the α subunit of NAC, and co-expression with overexpressed αNAC disrupts nuclear distribution, which is typically observed throughout the cytosol and nucleus. This interaction highlights α-taxilin′s importance not only in the translational process but also in the transcriptional regulation mediated by αNAC. Furthermore, the taxilin family, which includes β- and γ-taxilins, also influences the nuclear distribution of αNAC, underscoring the multifaceted roles of these proteins in cellular processes. α-taxilin (B-9) antibody serves as an essential tool for researchers investigating the dynamics of vesicle trafficking and transcriptional regulation in various biological contexts.
