SEE ALSO...

ZNF143 Antibody (L-26) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF143 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ZNF143 antibody (L-26) is available as the non-conjugated format. ZNF143, also known as zinc finger protein 143, SBF, STAF, or pHZ-1, is a 626 amino acid protein characterized by seven C2H2-type zinc fingers, which are crucial for function as a transcriptional activator. ZNF143 is predominantly localized in the nucleus and exhibits ubiquitous expression, with highest levels found in the ovaries. ZNF143 binding to the SPH motif in promoters of small nuclear RNAs (snRNA) underscores a significant role in regulating expression of genes involved in RNA processing and transcriptional control. ZNF143 expression is upregulated in response to DNA damage, highlighting an essential function in DNA repair mechanisms, which is critical for maintaining genomic stability and cellular integrity.

Can sc-100983: ZNF143 (L-26) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-100983: ZNF143 (L-26) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
