YSK1 Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects YSK1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-YSK1 antibody (E-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. YSK1 protein, also known as yeast SPS/STE20-related kinase 1, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of cell growth and differentiation. YSK1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and has been shown to interact with several other proteins, including mammalian STE20-like kinases such as KHS, GLK, NIK, HPK1, Krs-1, Krs-2, and GC kinase. These interactions are significant as they highlight YSK1′s involvement in complex signaling networks that relay information from G-protein coupled receptors, ultimately influencing various cellular responses. YSK1′s unique property is that overexpression does not activate the SAPK/JNK pathway, distinguishing YSK1 from other STE20-like kinases and underscoring a specialized function in cellular signaling.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-271196 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
