Datasheets
  • TRAF5 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against a peptide mapping at the C-terminus of TRAF5 of mouse origin
  • recommended for detection of TRAF5 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and bovine and porcine
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for TRAF5 Antibody (E-8) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with TRAF5 Antibody (E-8) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

TRAF5 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects TRAF5 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRAF5 is a crucial member of the TNF receptor-associated factor (TRAF) protein family, which plays a significant role in mediating signal transduction from the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily. TRAF5 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where TRAF5 forms complexes with various receptors, including CD40, CD27, and CD30, facilitating essential signaling pathways that lead to the activation of NF-kappa B and the regulation of cell survival. Proper functioning of TRAF5 is vital for processes such as osteoclastogenesis, as TRAF5 influences the differentiation and activity of osteoclasts, which are essential for bone remodeling. Additionally, TRAF5 undergoes post-translational modifications, including ubiquitination, which can affect stability and interaction with other signaling molecules, thereby modulating activity in immune responses. Anti-TRAF5 antibody (E-8) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the intricate signaling networks involved in immune regulation and cell survival.
