    SEE ALSO...

TCF-19 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TCF-19 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TCF-19 (H-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TCF-19 protein, also known as transcription factor 19 or SC1, is a 345 amino acid protein characterized by one forkhead-associated (FHA) domain, a proline-rich domain, and one PHD-type zinc finger. TCF-19 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where TCF-19 functions as a growth-regulated trans-activating factor involved in transcription of genes governing late stages of cell cycle progression, particularly G1 to S phase transition and entry into G2 and mitosis. TCF-19 expression notably increases during G1-S phase of the cell cycle, highlighting TCF-19′s importance in regulating cellular proliferation. Additionally, TCF-19 gene is situated in a critical region on chromosome 6 linked to psoriasis vulgaris, a skin disorder characterized by epidermal cell hyperproliferation. This association suggests TCF-19′s potential influence on psoriasis development through regulatory effects on late cell cycle-specific genes, making TCF-19 a significant target for research in cell cycle regulation and related pathologies.
