    SEE ALSO...

TAG-72 Antibody (0.N.562) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects tumor-associated glycoprotein 72 (TAG-72) in mouse, rat, human, and bovine samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). TAG-72 is a high molecular weight glycoprotein predominantly localized to the cytoplasm and cell membrane of malignant cells, playing a crucial role in tumor biology as a marker for various cancers. TAG-72 expression is notably high in 80% of colorectal carcinomas, while being rarely found in normal epithelial tissues, which underscores TAG-72′s potential as a diagnostic and therapeutic target. Additionally, TAG-72 is significantly expressed in low-grade mucoepidermoid carcinomas and is associated with several gynecologic malignancies, including common epithelial ovarian and endometrial carcinomas. TAG-72 expression levels also provide insights into tumor differentiation, as seen in human prostatic adenocarcinomas where TAG-72 expression negatively correlates with the Gleason grade. Furthermore, TAG-72 is instrumental in the purification of primary ovarian cancer cells from patient ascites, highlighting TAG-72′s utility in both research and clinical settings. With broad reactivity and application versatility, anti-TAG-72 antibody (0.N.562) is an essential tool for researchers investigating cancer biology and potential therapeutic interventions.
