    SEE ALSO...

STI1 Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects stress-induced-phosphoprotein 1 (STI1) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). STI1 plays a crucial role as a co-chaperone for heat shock proteins HSP70 and HSP90, which are essential for protein folding and protection under stress conditions. STI1′s ability to exist as either a monomer or a dimer is significant, as this conformational flexibility allows for effective organization and facilitation of HSP70 and HSP90 function. By acting as a scaffold, STI1 aids in recruiting client proteins to the relaxed, ADP-bound conformation of HSP90, thereby suppressing ATP turnover during the loading phase and ensuring proper protein folding and function. STI1′s importance in maintaining cellular protein homeostasis under stress highlights potential therapeutic interventions in diseases associated with protein misfolding and aggregation. anti-STI1 antibody (E-7) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying cellular stress responses and protein interactions.
