SPA-1 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SPA-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SPA-1, or signal-induced proliferation-associated gene-1, serves as a crucial RAP1 GTPase-activating protein primarily found in hematopoietic progenitors and peripheral T cells, playing a significant role in immune response regulation. Additionally, SPA-1 interacts directly with aquaporin-2 (AQP2), influencing AQP2 trafficking to the apical membrane, which is vital for maintaining water homeostasis in renal function.
