Datasheets
  • SLC25A45 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ SLC25A45 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 187-201 within an internal region of SLC25A45 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of SLC25A45 isoforms 1-4 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for SLC25A45 Antibody (C-6) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with SLC25A45 Antibody (C-6) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

SLC25A45 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects SLC25A45 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SLC25A45 antibody (C-6) is available as a non-conjugated antibody. SLC25A45, also known as solute carrier family 25 member 45, is a 288 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that facilitates metabolite transport across the inner mitochondrial membrane. SLC25A45 maintains cellular energy metabolism and health by ensuring essential substrates are available for mitochondrial respiration and ATP production. SLC25A45 is expressed in various tissues and contains three Solcar repeats, characteristic of the SLC25 family of mitochondrial carriers. The human gene encoding SLC25A45 is located on chromosome 11, a region associated with several diseases, including Wilms′ tumors and WAGR syndrome, highlighting SLC25A45′s importance in normal physiology and disease states. Through alternative splicing, SLC25A45 produces four known isoforms, exhibiting functional diversity relevant in different biological contexts.
