SEE ALSO...

RelB Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RelB protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RelB antibody (D-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RelB protein plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses and inflammation, functioning as a key component of the NF-κB signaling pathway. This pathway is vital for the transcriptional activation of genes involved in immune and inflammatory responses, making RelB essential for maintaining immune homeostasis and responding to pathogens. Notably, RelB is predominantly located in the nucleus, where RelB forms heterodimers with p50, enhancing RelB′s ability to transactivate genes with κB binding sites. The interaction between RelB and p50 is particularly important because this interaction allows for a more nuanced regulation of gene expression compared to homodimers, thereby influencing various biological processes such as cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. Anti-RelB antibody (D-4) versatility in multiple applications makes this reagent an invaluable tool for researchers studying the complexities of immune regulation and the underlying mechanisms of various diseases.

Can the TransCruz reagent sc-48366 X be used for applications other than EMSA and ChIP?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. Yes, the X form of the antibody can be used for any listed application such as Western Blot or IF, the dilution just needs to be adjusted as it is ten times as concentrated as the normal form of the antibody.
