RBMS2 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects RBMS2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RBMS2 antibody (B-4) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. RBMS2, also known as RNA-binding motif, single-stranded-interacting protein 2, is a crucial component in regulating various cellular processes, including DNA replication, gene transcription, and apoptosis. RBMS2 consists of 407 amino acids and features two RNA recognition motif (RRM) domains, which are essential for binding single-stranded nucleic acids. Nuclear localization of RBMS2 enables interaction with nuclear RNA and DNA, influencing gene expression and cell cycle progression. RBMS2 has been shown to suppress Cdc2 kinase and Cdc13 cyclin mutant activity, highlighting a role in cell cycle regulation. RBMS2 gene is conserved across several species, including chimpanzees, dogs, cows, mice, rats, and zebrafish, and is mapped to human chromosome 12q13.3, underscoring evolutionary importance and potential as a target for further research in cellular and molecular biology.
