PiT2 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PiT2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PiT2 (B-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PiT2, a member of the SLC20 family of sodium-dependent phosphate transporters, plays a crucial role in cellular phosphate homeostasis by functioning as a sodium-phosphate cotransporter. PiT2 expression is particularly high in bone, kidney, and intestine, where PiT2 is localized on the polarized epithelial cell membranes, facilitating phosphate uptake necessary for various biological processes, including bone mineralization and energy metabolism.
