Ly-GDI Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Ly-GDI in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Ly-GDI, also known as Rho GDIβ, plays a crucial role in regulating the activity of Rho family GTPases, which are essential for various cellular processes including cell migration, adhesion, and cytoskeletal dynamics. By binding to these GTPases, Ly-GDI prevents their activation, thereby maintaining cellular homeostasis and influencing signaling pathways that govern cell proliferation and differentiation. Ly-GDI′s function is highlighted by expression primarily in hematopoietic cells, particularly in B and T lymphocyte cell lines, where Ly-GDI modulates immune responses. Additionally, Ly-GDI interacts with several Ras-like GTP-binding proteins, including Rho A, Rho B, and Cdc42, highlighting Ly-GDI′s role as a key regulator in the intricate network of cell signaling. Anti-Ly-GDI antibody (E-3)′s ability to effectively detect Ly-GDI across multiple species makes this product an invaluable tool for researchers studying the dynamics of cell signaling and the underlying mechanisms of various diseases.
